Script typefaces are based on fluid stroke created by handwriting or calligraphy. Elegant, formal, sometimes spontaneous or funky, often appear to be drawn using crayon, quill pen, flat-tipped brush or marker. They are commonly used in logos or headings of web pages as they add impact to wording and create contrast with body text.
